How can I get updated information for available sports tours?

Pro Sports Tours is committed to consistently updating our website as well as our Facebook page. Pro Sports Tours also sends out information on upcoming events to all of our facebook members and members of the Pro Sports Tours mailing list before advertising to the general public.

How do I get on the Pro Sports Tours mailing list?

A.

To join the Pro Sports Tours mailing list simply click the CONTACT US tab at the top of the page and send a request. You can also phone us at 519-575-5288 or send an email to info@prosportstours.ca and ask to join. Pro Sports Tours will not share your email address. If you want to remove yourself from the mailing list, just send an email with your request and you will be deleted from the list.

Where is Pro Sports Tours located?

A.

Pro Sports Tours is located in Kitchener, Ontario and serves the Waterloo region and surrounding areas including Toronto, Hamilton and London. Full chartered tours can be booked from anywhere to anywhere. If you have any ideas about taking a group on an all-inclusive sports tour, contact us for more details.

Is there an age limit on your tours?

A.

People of all ages are welcome to travel on our tours; however, children must be accompanied by an adult and the adult is responsible for all documentation needed to cross the border on tours travelling outside Canada.

Parents are reminded that the majority of our tours (unless advertised as family events or kids team tours) are intended for adults and may not be enjoyed by, or be suitable for children. Feel free to ask about details on a specific trip if you have any questions.

What if the weather is bad, does the tour still go?

A.

All scheduled tours will proceed regardless of weather conditions. The drivers are experienced coach drivers and are looking out for the safety of each passenger at all times.

What is included in the tour price?

A.

Pro Sports Tours has many different tours which include a variety of attractions, food and accommodations. Please check each itinerary for what is included.

Why do I have to sign a Release of Liability Form?

A.

All Pro Sports Tours clients must sign a release of liability form as part of the registration process. The Release of Liability form can be found and completed on our BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS page. This acknowledges that medical and cancellation insurances have been offered and assists with attendance and seating locations. Forms must be completed at least 24 hours prior to departure. Due to the nature of our excursions we require that all passengers are aware of everyone’s responsibility and the conduct we adhere to during our trips. If for any reason a passenger is not willing to co-operate within our guidelines we reserve the right to refuse them from continuing on the tour.

I have a medical condition that requires me to have the front seat. Can you reserve that for me?

Pro Sports Tours will try to accommodate everyone with the best seats possible to ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. Unfortunately due to the high level of requests on some trips, it is Pro Sports Tours policy that all seats are on a first come first serve basis. The sooner you pay for your tour the sooner you can make the request to save a seat in the front of the coach.

Does the coach have washroom facilities?

A.

All of the busses we us are 47 – 56 Passenger Deluxe Motor Coaches are equipped with a washroom at the back of the coach. These coaches also have televisions and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable ride to and from the event.

Where do the tours depart from?

A.

Depending on the Pro Sports Tours tour, we have different departure locations.Please make sure to verify on your receipt and itinerary where your departure location is. We also accommodate pickups at your place of business when booking large groups or private tours.

What does Single, Double, Triple and Quad mean?

A.

Pro Sports Tours rates are based on the number of clients that would be in each room. For instance, if you were traveling by yourself you would pay the Single rate. If there were two of you sharing one room you would each pay the double rate and so on. Most tours only accommodate 4 per room however exceptions have been made for families where there are two adults and 3 children.

What identification should I take with me?

A.

It is always advised to bring personal identification on all Pro Sports Tours tours. Any events taking place over the border requires a Passport. For all information on what is needed to cross the border please visit the US department of Homeland Security website at:

What can I bring back duty free from the US?

A.

After a stay of 24 hours or more (but less than 48 hours) in the United States, a Canadian citizen or resident may return to Canada with:
• CND $50.00 worth of goods, tax and duty free, per person
• Any purchases of alcohol or tobacco may be subject to duties and taxes

After a stay of over 48 hours or more (but less than 7 days) in the United States, a Canadian citizen or resident may return to Canada with:
• CND $400.00 worth of goods, tax and duty free, per person
• Purchases may include 1.14 litres (40 ounces) of liquor or 1 case of beer (24x355ml cans/bottles) or 1.5 litres of wine plus 200 cigarettes (1 carton), 50 cigars or cigarillos, 200 tobacco sticks, and 200 grams of manufactured tobacco.

After a stay of over 7 days or more in the United States, a Canadian citizen or resident may return to Canada with:
• CND $750.00 worth of goods, tax and duty free, per person
• Purchases may include 1.14 litres (40 ounces) of liquor or 1 case of beer (24x355ml cans/bottles) or 1.5 litres of wine plus 200 cigarettes (1 carton), 50 cigars or cigarillos, 200 tobacco sticks, and 200 grams of manufactured tobacco.

How much spending money should I take with me?

A.

This is a common question for travellers and is very difficult to answer. The amount of money you may spend varies for each individual and there are many issues to consider. Make sure that you have read your itinerary completely and you are aware of what is and isn’t included. Budget for all meals that are not included and money for shopping and souvenirs.

What am I allowed to bring?

A.

What you can and can’t bring depends on the duration of the trip. A list of recommended items to bring and items that are prohibited on tours is listed on the game day itinery you receive upon payment.

Can we purchase insurance from Pro Sports Tours?

A.

Pro Sports Tours proudly offers medical and cancellation insurance through Allianz Insurance and strongly recommends purchasing insurances when travelling outside of Ontario. For a free quote you can click the Allianz logo on our BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS page.

Will we receive our package tickets in the mail or do we have to pick them up?

A.

To avoid lost or damaged tickets, Pro Sports Tours prefers to hand out all tickets on the day of departure. This allows us to group everyone on the trips directly beside friends and family. If you would like your tickets ahead of time please call our office and we can arrange a pick-up for you as soon as they are available and full payment is made. Once guests receive tickets they are no longer the responsibility of Pro Sports Tours.

Can we get our money back once we have paid in full?

All Pro Sports Tours tours sales are non-refundable and non transferable to another tour or person.

What form of payment is accepted?

A.

Pro Sports Tours has three options available to pay for your package. Over the phone with your Visa/Mastercard. In our office you can pay by Cash/Cheque, Visa or Mastercard. Send an email money transfer. After payment you will me given or emailed your Invoice and package itinerary.
